Many of our Farmer's are working hard to get caught up from last fall (2014).  November was a hard month and many "fall jobs" didn't get done.  So now, plastic is being picked up, High tunnels are being cleaned out, and equipment is being worked on.

Inside jobs include planting seeds, and getting growing tables set up with grow lights.

About Us

In the Beginning!

The Original Belvidere Farmer’s Market and Crafts opened in 1987 as the Hometown Market. Today, the Belvidere Farmer's Market and Crafts is now the largest Farmer's Market in Boone County.

The original Market was held on Saturday’s in the Boone County Historical Society parking  lot.

The Original Belvidere Farmer's Market and Crafts has moved locations and changed many time over the past years.  It is now located in the parking lot at the Dodge Lanes Bowling Alley.

The Freshest Produce is at the Market

Our Farmer's are your friends and neighbors who are working hard to supply locally grown fruits and vegetables at our Market for you to buy.

Our Farmers welcome questions on how their crops were raised.  Who is your favorite farmer?

We invite you to visit our Market on Saturdays and discover a new way to buy your produce.
